Retired professor of Biblical studies and head of the library in the Seminary and former Institut de pédagogie religieuse, now the Luxembourg School of Religion and Society in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (1982-2016). Doctorate in Theology from the Université catholique de Louvain (1981). Active within the Catholic Biblical Federation (CBF) since 1991: Coordinator of the Southern and Western European Subregion (1996-2002), acting CBF general secretary (2011-2014), member of the CBF Administrative Board and of the Editorial Board of BDVdigital. Publications on the Gospels, in particular on Luke-Acts, and on the Book of Revelation, as well as in the field of Biblical pastoral ministry. 

Activities during retirement include the leading of a Bible sharing group according to the method of “lectio continua”, reading books of the Scripture from the beginning to the end, as well as the direction of two church choirs and the function of cantor in the region of Echternach in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
